Since 2019, Amber has been a member of Toastmasters International, an internationally recognized speaking organization where people from around the world join in groups to practice speeches and presentations. The organization has helped Amber hone her skillset as a public speaker. As a speaker, she is versatile, thought-provoking, inspiring, motivating, and moving.

When Numb Is Not Enough

Amber Williams is many things, but first and foremost, she is both a survivor and hustler. She survived homelessness on the streets of Los Angeles and San Francisco. Amber was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder in 2016. She is a living testimony of what it means to defy the odds of living with mental illness. While living on the streets, she overcame starvation, sexual assault, and lack of shelter. Also, she is a survivor of attempted suicide.
